Oooh this is a good one, folks. I made this incredible breakfast strata for a big group this weekend and it was a success! Keep in mind that it does require some light planning ahead of time because you have to let the bread soak overnight. That being said, it's very easy to make! Check out the recipe here!
The original recipe calls for sausage and bacon but I substituted veggie sausage and bacon, as well as adding some red onion (one of my favorite foods). I'm a big believer in the idea that if a dish is spiced well, meat substitutes will taste just as good (or better!) than meat itself. This theory proved true this weekend!
